This is a request for qualifications for a GC/CM, including joint ventures, for the Kent County Bioenergy Facility. Anaergia is the developer that is working in partnership with Kent County to develop, build, and operate this facility comprising of 7 building and 1 future building not included in the project. The details of the buildings are provided below in the project description as well as in the attached site plan. The entire site development encompasses 37.69 acres. This RFQ is critical in determining a short list of qualified GC/CM's that will in follow up be sent a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) proposal. See "Timeline" below for anticipated selection process and project schedule. Unless the GC/CM responds to this RFQ and is deemed qualified, they WILL NOT be allowed to provide a proposal for the RFP. The RFP will be based on a 30% design package inclusive of the following: - 30% drawings for architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and automation - Specifications - Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) - Design Basis Report - Geotechnical Report - Equipment, Valve, and Instrument list - RFP document providing details on scope of work. The mixed waste processing facility will be located on the northwestern parcel of 250 acres adjacent to the existing South Kent Recycling and Waste Center (South Kent Landfill).
