Per the owner, as of October 21, 2024, this project has changed scope so a new design RFP will be issued sometime in the next several months. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ........... The City requires Design and Engineering Services for the Falcon Ridge Tank Replacement Project. The existing 32,000-gallon bolted steel water storage tank was constructed in 1987 and stores water for fire suppression service to twelve single family homes on Canterbury Drive and Spyglass Ct owned by property owners in the Falcon Ridge Home Owners Association (FRHOA) in the City of Napa. The tank is located on a City water tank easement over private property located in the unincorporated County of Napa and owned by a third party, that is not part of the FRHOA. The existing tank will be removed and a new tank that is sized to meet the latest California Fire Code requirements and designed to meet all applicable seismic, structural, and potable water standards will be installed within the existing water tank easement. The City estimates the new tank will have a required volume of 70,000 gallons of usable potable water storage and will be designed to optimize water quality.
