The Authority is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors (Contractor) to provide Water Well Replacement in Westley, CA. Architectural plans will be uploaded on Refer to the full report for specific details as described in attached Exhibit I. If the contractor's bid is over $10,000, a certified check, or bank draft (payable to the Stanislaus Regional Housing Authority), U.S. Government bonds at par value or a bid bond secured by a surety company (authorized to do business in California) equal to five percent (5%) of the bid will be submitted with the bid. Additionally, a non-collusive affidavit will be submitted with the contractor's bid. If the contractor's bid is over $10,000, the successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory performance and payment bond for one hundred percent of the contract price or, as may be required by law, separate performance and payment bonds, each for fifty percent or more of the contract price, or a twenty percent cash escrow, or a twenty five percent irrevocable letter of credit.
