Questions Due Date: Mar 17th 2023, 12:00 PM EDT PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Newton County ("Owner") is embarking on renovations of their Parks & Recreation Facilities such as: 1. City Pond Park - Athletic Lighting Retrofit The following is provided to assist the Design-Build firms or teamsin determining if they have the necessary project experience to submit a proposal and be considered for these projects. SCOPE: GENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICES. Includes complete CM Pre-Construction services; Cost management; Schedule management; submissions and permitting to all Authorities Having Jurisdiction, including, but not limited to, City of Covington Development Services and Fire Marshall (if necessary); full Construction Management, Design-Build and Post Construction services. (Refer to Attachment A - General Scope of Work for details) Pre-Construction Phase: (Facility Assessment / Design Services). Design Builder and their team of Engineers and/or Sub Contractors will complete Facility Assessments of the existing City Pond Park Athletic Lighting to determine all necessary improvements to retrofit and change out to new Athletic LED Lighting systems. Goal is to achieve a better understanding of what improvements will be necessary to support the scope of work. From this effort, the Design Builder will prepare Designs and Engineering and Guaranteed Maximum Prices that will be evaluated against budgets to determine specific scope to be achieved. This will include a complete Scope of work to expand and renovate the previously listed facilities.
