Technicians must be LG Certified to the level of Control Troubleshooting and Repairs. The contractor must have the software and equipment to connect to the LG Unit Controls to effectively maintain the system. LG Unit Multi IV VRF o R-410A Refrigerant o Variable speed compressors - Inverter technology o 208/1/60Hz, 208/230/3/60Hz o Indoor units are all 208/1/60Hz o Low ambient o Auto restart after power failure o Heat Recovery system - simultaneous heating and cooling o Heat Recovery 4 Port boxes - 208/1/60 Voltage o Factory provided wye branches with insulation jacket o Twinning kit wye branches for multi-chassis units o Refrigerant Shutoff Valves serving individual indoor units Units on System: o High-static horizontal ducted unit with integral condensate pump, washable filter and mounting brackets Controls for VRF System: o Room controllers for each indoor unit - Simple wired. o Meet with an airport maintenance representative to review/discuss any performance issues prior to inspection o Observe Outdoor Unit (ODU) in current operation o Check for proper space conditions, discharge conditions and staging system o Visually check heat recovery units for proper operation on LGMV diagnostic software o Provide and install any factory recommended software updates available o Visually check outdoor unit for refrigerant leaks, connections, control boards and event status on voltage/phase monitors if applicable o Meet with an airport maintenance representative to review any findings and any identified or recommended follow up actions o Prepare a report of the any findings and submit the report to the Director of Facilities & Grounds or his designee including any identified issues or action items.
