A timeline for award has not yet been established.**  City of Bloomington Township (COBT) is inviting sealed bid proposals for "COBT Office Renovations." The project consists of interior and exterior alterations for the existing COBT office building. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. COBT reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Online access will be provided to all registered bidders during the bidding process. A separate ftp site will be made available to the successful bidder for the duration of construction. Bidders must be properly li-censed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to COBT will be required of the successful bidder. COBT requires all contractors and vendors doing business with the Township not to discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, non-job-related handicaps, or national origin. Additionally, bidders shall be required to observe the fair employment practices commission rules pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq. City of Bloomington Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding. After receipt of bids and completion of the review process, COBT may award a contract to the bidder that, in its opinion, will provide a combination of the best services and reasonable cost.
