Sealed bids should be addressed to Carma Easton, LLC ( Owner ) on behalf of Pilot Knob M.U.D. Nos. 2 and 3. Bids will be received at Carlson, Brigance & Doering (CBD), Inc., 2nd Floor Conference Room, 5701 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, Texas 78749. Any Proposals received after the closing time will be unopened. In addition to submitted hard copy bids, a thumb drive containing electronic bid documents is required. The Pre-Qualification Statement included in the proposal packet and as required by Pilot Knob M.U.D. No. 3 shall be completed in its entirety and submitted as part of the proposal. Any proposal lacking the Pre-Qualification Statement will not be considered. All questions, clarifications and requests regarding the project must be received via email to Patrick Sullivan at patrick@cbdeng.com and received no later than 12. P.M., Monday, March 27, 2023. Any requests received after said time and date will not be addressed. A Cashier s Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond, payable to Carma Easton, LLC, in an amount not less than 5% of the bid must accompany each bid proposal as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will, within 10 days of the award of the contract, enter into a contract and furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond. The bidder s surety will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish Payment & Performance Bonds acceptable to the Owner within 10 days after award of the contract. No Proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of 120 days after the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Owner s judgment will be most advantageous to the Districts and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. The Award will be made on the basis of the LUMP SUM bidder that is considered the most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project in accordance with Texas Water Code Section 49.273(c). The right is reserved to waive any informality in the bidding and to reject any or all bids. Prevailing Wage Rates, in accordance with Government Code 2258 are applicable to this project.
