Irrigation repairs and landscape maintenance services in the Villages of Kapolei, including but not limited to landscape and grounds maintenance of roadway shoulders, medians, entry features, and vacant parcels, as well as maintain and repair automatic irrigation systems and irrigation mains for these areas at the Villages of Kapolei. HHFDC may reject any and all bids and may waive any bid defects whenever HHFDC deems such action is in the best interest of the State. Award will be made to the responsible bidder offering the lowest responsive bid and shall be determined by HHFDC in its sole discretion. Bidders must possess Specialty Contractor License "C-27" License and a valid State of Hawaii General Excise Tax License to be eligible to bid. All bids shall include the State General Excise Tax of 4.712%. This solicitation will result in a contract for construction. Therefore, bid security of at least five percent (5%) of the bid amount is required for bids exceeding $25,000. Contract performance and payment bonds shall be required for contracts exceeding $25,000. This solicitation is subject to the availability of funds. Questions, requests or discoveries relating to this bid solicitation must be submitted on HIePRO using the Questions and Answers function no later than 2:00 p.m. March 16, 2023.
