It creates significant event traffic and causes congestions and travel delays to the Downtown roadway network and intersections. The primary routes that carry traffic to the events include: Traffic from the East takes South St or Central Blvd to Hughey Ave to South St Traffic from the West takes Anderson St to Division Ave or Central Blvd to Division Ave. Traffic from the South takes I-4, then gets off at Garland Ave to South St. Traffic from the North takes Orange Ave to South St, or I-4 to Anderson St to Division Ave. The lack information of parking locations increases the delay and increases the unnecessary traffic circulation to find parking spaces in the Downtown area. The main goal of this project is to prepare a complete bid package for the construction of a wayfinding system in the Downtown area to guide motorists in real-time to find parking during events and to facilitate general traffic management in the area.
