Renovation of an educational facility in Thomaston, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Town of Thomaston Board of Education (here after referred to as the Thomaston BOE" or simply "BOE") invites interested parties to submit sealed bids for the construction of interior drainage at the Thomaston Center School, 1 Thomas Avenue, Thomaston, CT 06787. The work includes installing an under drain below the concrete slab gymnasium floor and other associated improvements. Bids shall be on a unit price, as indicated in the Bid Form. The boe is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer. Mbes, wbes and sbes are encouraged to bid on this contract All Bidders shall furnish with their Bid: A. Acknowledgement of Addenda Form B. 410 Bid Form C. C430 Bid Bond D. 440 Non-collusive Affidavit of Prime Bidder E. 450 State of Bidder Qualifications Bid deposit in the form of a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the maximum total amount of the Bid and made payable to the Town of Thomaston, Connecticut. Performance and Payment Bonds, in the full amount of the Contract price, will be required of the Successful Bidder. No Bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of the opening of Bids. Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids, or to accept any Bid which in their opinion, is in the public interest to do so. Construction start is expected in April of May 2023.
