The paints listed must meet the attached referenced federal specification. Proof of the specification requirement must be submitted with the bid. Any paint not meeting the federal specification will not be accepted. In the event of a tie in the bid price, the paint with the highest rating from the Master Painters Institute (MPI) will be given preference. All paint bid to the Board must be the manufacturer's top of the line, professional grade. Proof of this requirement is also required with the bid. There is no guarantee of quantity expressed in this invitation to bid. The prices bid are for paint picked up at your location. All prices are to be expressed in dollars and cents per gallon with all costs and charges included in the price bid to the Board. The Board reserves the right to group items and makes multiple awards should prices warrant that action. (Interior Oil, Semi-gloss constitutes about 80% of the paint used in the school district.) That the cost quoted in the attached bid or bids responding to the Paint Invitation to Bid are correct and have been arrived at by the bidder independently and have been submitted without collusion and without agreement, understanding, or planned common course of action, with any vendor of materials, equipment, or services described in the invitation to bid, designed to limit independent bidding or competition; That the content of the bid or bids have not been communicated by the bidder, or its employees or agents, to any person not an employee or agent of the bidder or its surety on any bond furnished with the bid or bids and will not be communicated to any such person prior to the official opening of the bid or bids; That the bidder is legally entitled to enter into the contracts with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is not in violation of any prohibited conflict of interest, including those prohibited by the provisions of the Model Procurement Code (KRS Chapter 45A); That I have fully informed myself regarding the accuracy of the statements made above and that I have read the entire contents of this bid invitation and accept all the terms and conditions as part of my proposal and will be bound by the same. I am not relying on any statement, verbal or otherwise, not contained herein. The Christian County Board Of Education reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the CCBOE. CCBOE also reserves the right to reject any bid where evidence or information submitted by the Bidder does not satisfy the CCBOE that the Bidder is qualified to carry out the requirements of the contract documents. The bid will be awarded for one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods should both parties be in agreement. The said contract may be cancelled at anytime by either party upon notice of not less than thirty (30) calendar days from date of receipt. The effective date of the contract will be from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. Bids must meet the minimal specifications below.
