Summary of Specifications: The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified firm to update Rockland County's Multi-Jurisdictional, All Hazard Mitigation Plan. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a contract award to a single consultant. The updated plan shall be prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 (DMA 2000) and it's implementing regulations: 44 CFR Part 201, in particular, Part 201.6 Local Mitigation Plans. The updated plan is also required to address the 2012 NYS DHSES Hazard Mitigation Planning Standards that are a required action for any hazard mitigation plan developed with funds administered by NYS DHSES. This RFP is designed to provide interested offerors with sufficient basic information to submit proposals meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a proposal's content or exclude any relevant or essential data. Offerors are at liberty and are encouraged to expand upon the specifications to evidence service capability under any agreement. Question Acceptance Deadline03/16/2023 12:00 PM EDT
