Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The purpose of this project is to reconfigure the existing parking to allow for a new Collison Reporting Centre (CRC) at 1921 Provincial Police Lane. The work will include the demolition, removals and reconstruction of the visitors parking area and the construction of a new secondary access all of which includes new asphalt, granular, concrete curb and sidewalk, lighting, conduits and line painting. The project will also include the development of the site in two phases. Phase 1 will include the construction of the secondary access to base granular to allow access to the existing parking lot while Phase 2 is being constructed. Phase two will commence only after the completion of the granular base of Phase 1. Once completion of the granular base for both phases, the asphalt top will be completed. Wayfind signage and site signage requirements have been identified in the Tender drawings. A Cash Allowance has been provided for potential changes to the wayfinding signage, if required. A Separate Price has also been requested for the modifications to Provincial Police Lane, as outlined in drawing C000 in different hatching.
