Westchester County Department of Planning through the Landlord Tenant Assistants Program is requesting bid proposals for Rehabilitation of Bathrooms, Kitchens and Roof replacement. Contractors who wish to access the property, prior to submitting bids can attend a pre-bid site visit by appointment only. Do not visit the site without an appointment. Failure to attend a pre-bid meeting will not relieve the firm of any responsibility for information provided during the pre-bid meeting. All bids shall be signed & dated in ink in the space provided as follows: A person having such legal authority from said firm, partnership or corporation must sign bids and the person signing the bid shall provide their name and title, in addition to the name and address of the firm, partnership or corporation. The County will select the lowest qualified bid and prepare a Contract to be executed by all parties. Work is expected to start two (2) weeks after contracts are fully executed. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to upgrade boilers for the supply of heat and domestic hot water, the replacement or retrofit of existing roof with EPDM Roofing System, as well as installation of new gutters and leaders. The job site is 897 Nepperhan Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10701. Base Bid: 1. Interior apartment renovations to bathroom, kitchen and flooring to five (5) apartments. 2. EPDM Roof Replacement: Removal of an existing built up roof and replace with a 060. EPDM System, including rigid insulation and installation of new gutter system, with leaders and down spouts. Install gutters and leaders. Alternate: 3. EPDM Roof Recover: If there is only one roofing system then the contractor shall proceed with the alternate specification to re-cover the existing roofing system.
