PROJECT: The major work consists of the following items: Pulverizing and haul-ing approximately 6640 SY of asphalt pavement and base. approximately 1455 linear feet of 8-Inch PVC Sanitary Sew-er, 5 manholes, 20 sanitary laterals, and providing, placing, and grading 5048 tons base coarse. TIME AND PLACE OF BID OPENING: After the official electronic Bid closing time, the Bid results will be reviewed and read aloud in the Board room at Village Hall, 2400 Post Road, Plover. BID SECURITY: A bid bond or certified check, payable to the Village of Plover, in the amount of not less than 5% or more than 10% of the Bid shall accom-pany each Bid as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish 100% performance and payment bonds within 15 days after notice of award of the contract by the Village. WAGE SCALE: Prevailing hourly wage rates are not required as Part of Wisconsin Act 55. CONTRACTOR and SUBCONTRACTOR shall pay competi-tive wages for each classification of em-ployee engaged in the work. BID REJECTION: The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous to the Village's best interest.
