Renovation of a residential development in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Question Submission Close Date: 3/20/2023 2:00 AM EDT SCOPE OF WORK (SOW): 1. New Roof a) Possible sheeting in some sections to be determined after the shingles are pulled off. We could change this to a metal roof if that looks like the best option. b) Roof dimensions are 85 feet x 40 feet. c) Repairing the roof is also integrated into repairing the signs as they are posted on the building. d) Secure and cover ducts and old swamp cooler runs from the top of this building. e) Roof color: gray type of color pattern. 2. New Gutters 3. Siding a) Replace damaged or lost pieces to match existing siding. 4. Soffit a) Repair and secure the soffit that is falling. It may just need to be re-clipped and attached. b) Restore electrical connection for lighting. 5. Signage repair a) The original sign boxes need to be reinforced with metal. b) The back lit signs are all florescent and we need these to be changed to LED. c) Sockets on the main sign are very old and they may need to be changed out and we would also like these to use LED sign light bulbs. d) There are many broken neon pieces that will need to be repaired. (1) Neon-sign expert to look at the signs and determine our best solution. e) New faces (plexiglass) to all 5 signs f) Paint the metal frame and housing of these signs to match existing colors. g) Restore electrical connection to signs. h) Sign Dimensions: (1) On the southeast corner there are 2 signs both with dimensions of 96" length x 36" high x 9" thick (2) On the southwest corner there are 2 signs both with dimensions of 96" length x 36" high x 9" thick (3) Rough Center on the south edge of roof is one large sign 144" length x 60" high x 12" thick. (4) On each side of the large sign are 2 house shaped boxes with dimensions roughly 35" x 48" x 12" 6. New Front Door and Window a) Color- Black b) Replace the front door and side set with a powder coated new door and window. c) Dimension of the door is 36" wide x 79" tall. d) Dimension of the side window of this is 38" wide x 79" tall. 7. Two (2) New Windows to be installed on the building's West-Side a) One window extended down. (1) Currently measured at 24" x 94 3/4 " and we want to match the front windows at 93" x 48". b) One window added to match the east side of the building. 8. Exterior Painting Description a) Entire building needs to be power washed and repainted to a similar color as it currently is. This project will be a federally financed community development project. All rules and regulations governing such projects will be applicable. The contract is to be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in the request for bids. All contractors participating in this project must have a Unique Entity ID (UEI) number and be registered on the federal System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov. Contractor eligibility will be verified after the award has been granted but before the contract is executed.
