The City of Peculiar is seeking proposals from qualified operator(s) to cut and bale hay / grass on approximately __37 acres of City-owned property within Dunsworth Park boundaries. 1. Dunsworth Park is a public park. The public has access to the park lands and will be allowed to use all designated areas subject to haying operations. 2. Contractor must notify and get prior approval from the Peculiar Parks and Recreation Department Director or his / her designee to temporarily limit public access to the park during haying operations. 3. Applicants must be prepared to release certain areas at the City's request to accommodate park development and management needs. 4. Only grass-type crops are allowed. 5. The Contractor will incorporate best management practices in the cutting and removal of the hay and grass. 6. Use of manure, commercial fertilizer, pesticides or any other practice must be approved in writing by the Parks Director or his / her designee. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining any licenses, certifications, or other approvals required for any such practice. Proposal packets are available at the City of Peculiar City Hall (250 S.
