**As of March 16, 2023, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $6,983.95** Trash Compactor System at Harry J. Holtje House, 1403, Teresa Drive, Fort Lee, New Jersey 07024 All work necessary and incidental thereto in accordance with the Contract Documents. All work must be completed no later than April 7, 2023. The award is solicited in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.) and a contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Failure by a Bidder to inspect the work sites prior to submission of its bid will, in no way, relieve selected Bidder of its responsibility to perform all work required under the Contract Documents. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes marked on exterior with words "Trash Compactor System Rehabilitation." Sealed Bids may be delivered by hand to AuthoritVs office or be deposited into the lock box located at the exterior entrance of the above address. It is Bidders sole responsibility to ensure delivery of its Bid by the bid deadline. Bidders must be fully licensed, certified and insured to perform all of the work required under the Contract Documents and must be authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Any Bidder that is a corporation not chartered under the laws of the State of New Jersey must submit an affidavit certifying that said corporation is authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bidders, their subcontractors and suppliers, must comply with the State of New Jersey Business Registration requirements. Bidders must be registered with the Department of Labor and are required to comply with the requirements of Public Law 1999, c.238, "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act", which became effective on April 11, 2000. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Public Law 1975, c.127, which pertains to "Non-Discrimination" and "Affirmative Actions", Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, New Jersey State Prevailing Wage requirements and Public Law 1977, c.33, which requires a statement of Corporate Ownership.
