Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide custodial services for its facilities located on and off the main Campus. The successful Vendor shall furnish labor, tools, equipment, materials and supplies as needed to perform custodial services. CVCC is located in Hickory, NC and is a member of the NC Community College System with approximately 10,000 students, faculty and staff. The college is approximately 720,000 sq. feet with approximately 604,800 square feet of cleanable area of academic, laboratory, offices and classroom space. The Vendor shall provide custodial services as specified in this RFP and as deemed industry standard for the housekeeping profession. The word "State" in this RFP document shall be interpreted to cover the college. Floor plans and tile and carpet square footage will be distributed at the mandatory pre-proposal meeting on March 29, 2023. Submit Written Questions Vendor Wednesday, April 5, 2023 by 5:00 PM The Contract term shall commence upon Award and after receipt of a valid purchase order from the College with a contract term date of July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2026. The Contract shall have a three (3) year term, beginning July 1st, 2023 allowing for termination for cause or convenience as specified in Attachment C: North Carolina General Terms and Conditions, Section 2. The Vendor shall make preparations to be ready to begin work under the Contract by July 1, 2023. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFP and any addenda issued hereto.
