The work will include for the removal of approximately 23,675 ft2 (2,199 m2) of existing EPDM roof system and the installation of a new SBS roof system. The bids shall be stipulated sum. Partial or incomplete bids will not be accepted. Limited unit price work is included. The Work is anticipated to begin on upon award; the completion date is November 30, 2023. Changes to the Contract Price due to work accomplished due to a change in scope of work will be initiated by the Contractor. The contractor-provided information will be used by the Consultant in the development of the Proposed Contract Change Order Form. The Consultant shall prepare the Proposed Change Order, and shall submit to the Contractor and Owner for signatures. .2 The Contractor must notify the Consultant of any work that is not part of the Contract, but must be accomplished in order to continue with the project. .3 Prior to proceeding with such work, the Contractor is to provide the Owner with a description of the work being accomplished and a total cost for such work. Shop drawings and/or roof plans shall be attached, as required. The value of any change outside the provided unit price component replacement values shall be determined on a time and material basis with an allowable mark up for Overhead, Supervision and Profit. The Contractor will be responsible for providing a complete breakdown of all labour and material for the change including labour and material costs for Subcontractor effected by the change in the scope of work
