Spring to Fall Landscape Maintenance Service at Various Sites Bidders are to submit Bids in a sealed envelope. Both the external and inner envelope should state, as it appears in this advertisement, the title of the requested service as well as an email address to receive the Zoom Invite for the Bid Opening. All Bidders are hereby notified that they must comply with all applicable Federal, State and Municipal Laws, Rules and Regulations, including but not limited to those pertaining to Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity, Ownership, Disclosure, and Security. Bidders must also comply with NJ Statutes 40 A: 11- 16, with regard to listing subcontractors. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to opening of Bids without the express consent of the Housing Authority of the City of Paterson. A Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty, which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total Bid. At the option of the Bidder, the guaranty may be a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bond (at current date market value) or a bid bond secured by Guaranty or, a Surety Company. A Performance and Payment Bond will be required of the successful Bidder. All Bidders must be licensed, registered or otherwise legally permitted to conduct business in the State of New Jersey. A copy of the Bidder's New Jersey Business Registration must be submitted prior to date of award. The Business Registration Certificate serves as proof of valid business with the New Jersey Division of Revenue. The Bidder must also satisfy all insurance requirements set forth in the Bid Specifications. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) will be offered full opportunity to bid and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration of an award. The Housing Authority of the City of Paterson reserves the right to waive any informality of the Bid process and the right to reject any or all Bids received.
