This project entails the replacement of an existing elevator in City Hall with a Code-compliant five-stop traction elevator; and all labor, material, thne, and appurtenances required to complete the work in accordance with the Coniract Documents prepared by the City of Hagerstown, MD, This is only a brief summary of ii,ipor_fillation. It shall be the bidder's responsibility to familiarize himself with the entire contract documents and to frequently check the city of hagerstown wed site for addenda and updates until the bid opening.. ontract documents and plans as prepared by Newcomer Associates and by the City of Hagerstown Depart ment of Engineering, which includes Drawings Series 62-172 as part of these contract documents. LENGTICOF: CONTRACT: As agreed to between the Contractor and the City of Hagerstown. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Liquidated damages are assessed at $500.00 per calendar day. FUNDING: Funding for this project is provided by American Rescue Plan Act Wage rates and compliance with other Federal regulations is required. BID. BOOKLET: The separate Bid Booklet attachment shall be completed by the Bidder & submitted as the Sealed Proposal, BID SURETY: 10% Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Cheek to be submitted with the Sealed Proposal, CONTRACT BONDS: The successful Bidder shall submit a 100% Performance Bond and a Labor Sc. Materials Payment Bond upon award of contract
