Mohave County Community College (the "Owner"), invites interested Design/Build Teams (DB Team) to submit a written Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for performing design/build services relating to the design and construction of a Student Housing project on the Bullhead City Campus in Bullhead City, AZ. The College envisions this Student Housing building will be approximately 25,000 square feet and will include 17 Apartments, 1 Resident Apartment, a Study Room, Laundry Room, 2 mechanical rooms and 2 janitorial rooms. The project will include VERY LIMITED landscaping and NO parking lot (current building site offers parking area. Approximately 20,000 square feet of the 25,000 SF project will be livable space with the entire 25,000 +/- being under roof. Exact number of apartments will be established in the programing phase of the Design/Build process. The new building shall include all necessary infrastructures as may be required for the integration into existing facilities. DB team will phase, design and construct to accomplish the timeliest completion of the Project with the least disturbance to College programs and maximum consideration of the health, safety, and welfare of College students, staff, and guests. It is anticipated that this project will begin in April 2023 and the building will be completed by May 2024, or sooner. The current building site is a clean construction site on the Bullhead City Campus and the project will include earthwork and pad. The project should include architectural features that maximize the area views and sun alignment. This should be a user-friendly building. The building should blend in and coordinate with existing styles on campus. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. RFQ has been estimated at $5 M.
