The Village of Nakusp and Nakusp and Area Development Board are seeking proposals for a Signage and Wayfinding Plan that will be designed to create a comprehensive wayfinding strategy and plan for implementing the installation of signage for the benefit of both visitors and residents alike. The goals of the plan are to: Direct people to and inform people about services and amenities throughout the village, recreational sites, businesses, and cultural and historical places Determine appropriate decision points throughout the community Develop signage that will be effective at communicating with people using various modes of transportation, both active and motorized Determine appropriate guidance for the placement of signage Inventory existing signage and propose updates, replacement, or removal Deliver a final report on the plan, including a map of the community, indicating locations and specifics of individual signs
