Demolition, site work, paving, outdoor lighting and new construction of a mixed-use development in Venice, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,550-square-foot, three-story above grade transportation facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a eight-space sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; road / highway; for the demolition of a transportation facility; service station / car wash facility; water / sewer project; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and 4,935-square-foot office development.

**As of June 26, 2024, project was awarded to Ajax Building Company, LLC but awarded amount is not available.** Goal of 7.5% DBE Award Recommendations June 10, 2024 The final day that the City will accept questions will be May 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM. The City of Venice (City) is requesting Proposals from Construction Management firms to provide pre-construction and construction phase services for the construction of the new Terminal Building for City of Venice at Venice Municipal Airport, 150 Airport Ave E, Venice, FL 34285 The new Terminal Project will involve the construction of a new 3 stories building, parking lot, sidewalks, access roads, generator, utilities, and all associated site improvements (see Section 2-Scope of Work for more details.) The proposed Terminal building will be located immediately west of the existing Airport Terminal Building. This project will be partially funded with federal and state grant programs and the contractor will be responsible for complying with all grant requirements. First floor and parking lot area: Construction of 8 car Parking spots with two EV charging stations Construction of rooms for Mechanical, Fire Riser, Electrical, and Generator A new natural gas powered generator Construction of a lobby and storage area Construction of stairs and elevator General site improvements as necessary, including parking, minor landscaping, access road and sidewalks, site lighting, security fencing, utilities, and drainage. Second floor: Construction of an approximately 4,100 SF which includes a Lobby, Community Room, Flight Lounge, Storage and Custodian room, Coffee bar & Café Seating area, Bathrooms, Stairs and elevator, and approximately 450 sf balcony. Third floor: Construction of Approx. 4,420 SF which includes Offices, Copy/File room, Storage and Custodian rooms, Reception Areas, Breakroom, Lobby, Bathrooms, Stairs, and Elevators, and approximately 515 sf balconies. Project will include value engineering analysis of the existing design, preparation of a guaranteed maximum price, and construction. All questions, comments, or concerns about this RFP must be submitted in writing to Mr. Peter Boers, Procurement- Finance Department, for the City of Venice, Room 204, 401 West Venice Avenue, Venice, FL 34285. Mr. Boers is the only designated representative of the City authorized to respond to comments, questions, and concerns. The City will not respond to comments, questions or concerns addressed to any person other than Mr. Boers. If the City determines that a particular comment, question or concern necessitates a global response to all Proposers, the City will issue a clarifying memorandum or addendum. The final day that the City will accept questions will be May 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Award Recommendations June 10, 2024 Submittal of the preliminary GMP July 10, 2024 The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request re-submission. Any sole response received by the submission date may or may not be rejected by the City, depending on available competition and timely needs of the City.
