Consultant shall provide the following gull harassment and abatement Services on the primary operational grounds of the GLWA Water Resource and Recovery Facility (WRRF) and the surrounding Detroit Marine Terminal (DMT) areas. Consultant shall deliver the Services in three (3) phases. Phase 1 will provide early and consistent gull harassment and abatement prior to the peak of the gulls nesting season. The intent is that with consistent enough harassment, a significant portion of the gulls will move elsewhere to attempt to nest. Phase 2 Services will consist of providing a much harsher and less hospitable environment for nesting during the peak of the nesting season. It has been found in the past that ceasing abatement methods during the height of the nesting season on weekends allows the gulls enough comfort and time to settle back into their nests by Monday. Providing weekend harassment and abatement should mitigate this pattern. Finally, Phase 3 is to continue consistent gull harassment and abatement through the end of the nesting season, which typically ends around the end of July. Gull harassment Services are expected to conclude on or about July 28, 2023. The term of this Contract shall be for one (1) year Questions Due Date: Mar 2nd 2023, 12:00 PM EST
