Site work for a municipal facility in Grovedale, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The Work required for this Contract comprises the general decommissioning of an existing evaporative lagoon, located at SE-04-70-06-W6 near Grovedale, AB; and further identified as the Old Grovedale Lagoon. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: .1 General requirements, mobilization, and demobilization as outlined in these Contract Documents. .2 Removal and disposal of existing piping, manholes, concrete pad, gravel access, and other miscellaneous items. .3 Removal, plugging, and capping of existing forcemain. .4 Removal and disposal of shrubs, trees, and other dense vegetation. .5 Stripping and stockpiling of topsoil on site. .6 Removal and disposal of hydrovac solids in Cell 1B. .7 Pumping of existing treated effluent to the new Grovedale Lagoon at SE-34-69-06-W6. .8 Scarifying and compacting of lagoon floor to incorporate residual sludge. .9 Common excavation to lagoon fill. .10 Contractor supplied lay import to lagoon fill. .11 Placing of stockpiled and imported topsoil. .12 Seeding of topsoiled areas.
