The work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to complete project 011-23 Ledbetter InterchangeStreet Light Painting, per the drawings and specifications included. Question Acceptance Deadline 03/08/2023 05:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online Yes This project consists of the painting of 173 street light poles and mast arms. The poles are approximately 26-feet tall, and the mast arms extend approximately 16-feet off the pole. Poles are located within State Right of Ways and will require Traffic Control to be in-place at all times. Contract shall be 60 consecutive calendar days for completion of the work to be computed from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The work to be done consists of furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary to LEDBETTER INTERCHANGE STREET LIGHT PAINTING, Bid No. 011-23, including, but not limited to: brushing/sandblasting, sanding, cleaning, and painting using normal standards of care for completing the work. All items to be painted shall be painted with SPECTRACRON CLEAR ALKYD ENAMEL 9350020007662 "BENCH GREEN" as manufactured by Pittsburg Paints. No alternates allowed. All debris generated as part of this project shall be collected and disposed of in accordance with Local, State and Federal Requirements. Areas adjacent to items to be painted shall be restored to as-good or better conditions in which they were found. The contractor shall coordinate this work with City of Rome Traffic Signal Supervisor, Mr. Mark Boozer at 706-252-5055. Any and all damage or claims as a result of negligence associated with this contract shall be the FULL and COMPLETE responsibility of the contractor. The work area is along or near State Routes (SR 20, SR 1, SR 53) and traffic control is required in full and complete compliance with the current version of the MUTCD. The contractor shall coordinate traffic control prior to the initiation of the project and on a DAILY basis with Mr. Tony Bannister, Permit Engineer for the Georgia Department of Transportation.
