Tenders will be accepted in electronic format (preferred) or printed format (addressed as outlined below) by the City Clerk Refer to the tender documents for detailed submission requirements. The work generally consists of supplying all materials, labour and equipment necessary to reconstruct Blake Avenue from McNabb Street to Wawanosh Avenue a total length of approximately 680 metres, including reconstruction of the municipal road, including the installation of new storm sewers, sanitary sewers, watermain, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt pavement and other related work. Contractors must be registered with the Consultant in order to submit a Tender. Only those Tenders received from Contractors who have registered with the Consultant will be accepted. Tenders must be accompanied by a tender deposit in the form of a bid bond, certified cheque, money order or bank draft payable to the Treasurer of the Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie in the amount of 10% of the Tender Price. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% Performance Bond and 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the contract.
