In accordance with M.G.L. c. 30, 39m, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a company for the purposes of upgrades at an existing sewer ejector station in the Town of Franklin. The work to be performed will include demolition of the existing 50 gallon duplex sewer ejector system at the Monterey Drive Pump Stations, furnishing and installation of a direct in-line pump system, associated electrical work, and other incidental work as required. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work. The work to be done underthis Contract at the Monterey Drive Pump Station consists ofthe following: o The removal of the existing 50 gallon duplex electrode controlled pneumatic sewer ejector pots, piping, valves, air receiver tanks and piping, control panel, wiring, and supports. o Furnish and installation of one Direct In-Line Pumping Systems duplex pumps with motors. o The Town will provide by-pass pumping over the course ofa 36 hour period to facilitate installation. If the contractor needs additional time they are responsible for temporary by-pass pumping. o Connection of all new control panels and devices into the existing electrical and instrumentation systems. o All other work as required and as indicated in the contract documents.
