The last day to submit questions will be Monday, March 13, 2023 by 5:00p.m. Questions received after the stated date and time will not be addressed The scope of work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, tools, and equipment required to replace all horizontal expansion joints located on the top/fourth floor and possibly third floor of the City Garage at 9510 West Sample Road, Coral Springs, in accordance with the contract documents. Work includes removing all existing expansion joint material, preparation of the concrete surface, and furnishing and installation a new silicone sealant expansion joint with backer rod, in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and contract documents. Contractor is required to visit the job site to confirm the dimensions of the expansion joints. 1. Contractor shall be a certified product applicator.umstances Mobilization/ Demobilization A. Schedule a meeting onsite with City Engineer before start of construction. B. Mobilization includes installation of maintenance of traffic devices, deliveries, storage and deployment of materials and equipment. C. Demobilization includes removal of material and equipment, and site restoration and cleanup. `D. Protect all existing utilities and equipment such as pipes, conduits, electrical, mechanical, control panels, and chiller units from damage. Contractor shall notify City Engineer immediately upon discovery of any utility or obstacle which may interfere with the Work. Any item damaged by the Contractor due to negligence shall be repaired or replaced at the Contractor's expense to the City Engineer's satisfaction. E. Contractor shall comply with all OSHA safety requirements and shall obtain all the necessary permits to perform the work safely.
