The outfield fence on the college baseball field is damaged and needs to be removed and replaced. The existing 10 foot high fence, poles and piping are to be removed and discarded. The existing fence is approx. 575 ft. long. The new fence shall include a continuous top rail, a solid mid-rail and a bottom rail. The new fence posts shall be set in concrete. Layout new fence to match location of existing fence. Install new vertical posts set in concrete footings, install new rails and fencing as per specification. Rake out and smooth out area where posts were installed. SPECIFICATION - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Footings to be 14" in diameter and 3 foot deep. Footing to stop 3 inches below soil surface. Concrete to be minimum 3000#. Fence to be 8' high. Fence posts and rails - All posts and rails are to be schedule 40, galvanized. Vertical post diameter - 2 1/2" Top and Mid Rail diameter - 1 5/8" Post spacing - no more than 10 feet. Fencing - 9 gage, 2" mesh size, green vinyl coated. Fasteners and hardware - as per industry standard.
