Description: WIN 25857.00 and 28687.00 Location: In Cumberland, and York Counties, project is located: Map ID 1 is in Berwick on Route 236 beginning at the Berwick/South Berwick town line and extending northerly to the intersection with the Powerhouse Road. Includes paving shoulders. Map ID 2 is in Wells on the Chapel Road beginning at the intersection with Route 1 and extending northerly to the intersection with Route 9/109. Includes paving shoulders. Map ID 3 is in Wells on Route 1 beginning at the intersection with the Harbor Road and extending northeasterly to 0.07 miles south of the Burnt Mill Road. Includes paving shoulders. Map ID 4 1s in Lyman, and Dayton on Route 35 beginning at the intersection with the Huff Road and extending northeasterly to the intersection with the Waterhouse Road. Includes paving shoulders. Map ID 5 1s in Biddeford on West Street beginning at the intersection with Route 9 and extending northerly to the Urban Compact Line. Map ID 6 is in Eliot, and South Berwick on Route 101 beginning at the Eliot/Kittery town line and extending westerly to the Maine/New Hampshire state line. Includes paving shoulders. Includes paving shoulders. Map ID 12 is in Scarborough on Route 22 beginning at the Scarborough/Westbrook town line and extending westerly to the Compact Urban Line. with Route 109. Map ID 15 is in Ogunquit on Shore Road beginning at the Ogunquit/York town line and extending northeasterly to the intersection of Route 1. Includes paving shoulders. Map ID 19 is in Saco on Louden Road beginning at the intersection with Route 5 and extending northerly to the Compact Urban Line. Map ID 20 is in Scarborough on Mussey Road beginning at the intersection of Honan Road and extending easterly to the Scarboro/South Portland town line. Includes paving shoulders. Map ID 21 is in Eliot on Route 103 beginning at the intersection of Route 236 and extending southernly to the intersection with Old Road. Includes paving shoulders. Map ID 22 is in Kittery on Dennett Road beginning at the intersection of Valles Road and extending northernly to the intersection with Nordia Lane. Includes paving shoulders and milling and paving Bridge #6275 underpass. Outline of Work: Light Capital Paving and other incidental work. Total length is 40.03 miles. Bidders shall not contact any other Departmental staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and the Department will not be responsible for any interpretations so obtained. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable State Laws. The right is hereby reserved to the Maine DOT to reject any or all bids. MEDOT - (LCP)Light Capital Paving - Wells Area - Region 1 Bids will be accepted from all bidders. Electronic bids do not have to be accompanied by paper bids. Please note: the Department will accept a facsimile of the bid bond; however, the original bid bond must then be received at the MDOT Contract Section within 72 hours of the bid opening. Until further notice, dual bids (one paper, one electronic) will be accepted, with the paper copy taking precedence.
