Pre-Qualification: Yes The work of this Contract generally includes pumps, strainers, piping, associated demolition, structural, and electrical work. Prequalification for this Project does not imply that the contractor will be prequalified for other current or future GBMSD projects. Prequalification forms submitted by applicants are not public records and are not open to public inspection. All information provided will be kept confidential to the extent permitted by law. However, the contents may be disclosed to third parties for the purpose of verification or subsequent investigations. Prequalification Information Requests must be received by 10 A.M., local time, Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Documents shall be directed to GBMSD securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, PREQUALIFICATION INFORMATION REQUEST FOR GREEN BAY FACILITY SERVICE WATER REPLACEMENT and addressed to Robert Brown, Staff Engineer, at GBMSD, 2231 North Quincy Street, Green Bay, WI 54302. Forms received after the specified time will not be considered. Each Applicant submitting a Prequalification Information Request will be notified individually of their prequalification status by Friday, March 17, 2023. LEGAL PROVISIONS: The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 60.77, 66.0901, and 779.15 of the Wisconsin statutes. WAGE RATES: Prevailing wage rates are not required for this Project. AWARD OF CONTRACT: Any contract(s) awarded under this Official Notice to Bidders should make positive efforts to utilize small and minority owned businesses. GBMSD encourages MBEs, WBEs, and DBEs to submit bid proposals. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
