Site work and paving for a civil project in Cary, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Cary is hereby requesting proposals for the construction of FY23 Traffic Calming - Multiple Locations, PROJECT LOCATION: Multiple locations as listed here: o Park York Lane: Park Valley to Fryar Creek o Henderson Road: Seabiscuit to Optimist Farm o Kettlebridge Drive: Stoneleigh to Lake Pine & Glenbuckley Road: Kettlebridge to Cary Parkway Construct traffic calming as shown on the construction drawings, inclusive of nine (9) flat-top speed humps and associated pavement striping and signage. All improvements shall be constructed in accordance with Cary Standard Specifications and Details. The successful bidder will be required to: Prepare and implement a traffic control plan Perform surface preparation, including milling of existing pavement Lay out and construct pavement undulations in accordance with the Cary Standard Details Install post-mounted traffic signage and pavement markings in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) This project will be executed in accordance with the terms and conditions and using the Cary small construction agreement, which is attached for reference. This project is estimated to last no more than 60 working days and is expected to be completed in Spring 2023.
