The work under Contract generally includes construction of water system mains and encompasses the furnishing and installation of all equipment, material, labor, utilities, and services necessary for the complete construction of water main and including pipe, fittings, valves, hydrants, services, and appurtenances. The CONTRACTOR shall coordinate all construction with the OWNER and shall give the OWNER advance notification for valve shutoff, testing, disinfection and flushing of the new lines. All valves on the existing water system shall be operated only by employees of Richland Township Municipal Authority. Sequencing of waterline shutdown to facilitate testing shall be coordinated with the Authority. Clarification Deadline 3/9/2023 4:30 PM via PennBid Certified Check or Bid Bond - 10% of the Bid Proposal Submitted for the Contract. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. Successful Bidding Bidder Awarded This Contract Shall Provide a Performance Surety in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount.
