The Ohio State University (Ohio State) requests qualifications for a Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) for the Ice Rink Replacement project. The project will design and construct a new ice hockey arena for Ohio State Athletics. The arena will feature one sheet of ice and include women's team locker room, lounge, dining / nutrition area, theater, offices, equipment room, training room, broadcasting services, public concessions, and restrooms. Spaces for the men's team is still to be determined but will be examined. The proposed spectator capacity is 2000. Professional design services are being acquired by the Contracting Authority under a separate contract. The Program of Requirements ("POR") will be developed as a part of this project by the Architect/Engineer ("A/E"). All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistent with the Contracting Authority/Owner's policies and procedures.
