Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Midland, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 3,200-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The Town of Midland is looking for proposals from qualified vendors to submit a proposed design based on the specifications found in this document. The successful vendor will also be required to complete any background investigations or reviews required (survey, site plan, geotechnical etc.). The successful vendor will work with Town staff to ensure all applicable codes and regulations are met and permits are applied for and adhered to. Lastly, the successful vendor will supply and install the proposed building with their own forces or coordinating sub contractors as the general contractor. The successful vendor will design, supply and build a storage building to meet the below requirements including all background reviews/ investigations required for approval from the Town of Midland Building Department as well as Project Management during construction. The intended use of this building is to store off season equipment and materials including heavy equipment and heavy trucks as well as road signs and various roads and parks related equipment and materials. The Town asks that each vendor submit an option for a 40' deep x 80 wide' building and/ or to propose an alternate size with a minimum depth of 40' and width of 60' Once proposals are evaluated, awarding of the contract will follow. The goal is to have this building completed by the end of Summer 2023 however, vendors shall propose a realistic timeline in their proposal.
