Saving Project...

Site work for a mixed-use development in Brooks, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Brooks in partnership with JBS Food Canada will receive a donation from JBS Foods' Hometown Strong program. These funds are to be used toward the revitalization of McKay Park in the City's south east sector. The revitalization is to include expansion of the existing playground and installation of a pour'n'play surface, installation of two new basketball courts, a mini soccer pitch with goal posts, a finished patio area with picnic tables, installation of a cover gazebo over a portion of the patio area and an upgrade to the parks walking paths offering better connectivity. The City intends to select from applicants to the RFP a Contractor responsible for all stages of the Project. This will involve, but not be limited to: Designing the McKay Park revitalization, including associated grading, access, etc. Providing a list of equipment required to complete the Project. Managing Project processes - providing schedule and budget updates and reporting frequency. Development of construction and other required drawings necessary for Project construction. Application for any required Development and Building permits through the City of Brooks. Construction Supervision. Construction of the approved McKay Park revitalization design.
