Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Chesapeake, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work under this project consists of: provision of all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for the construction of mechanical screen and associated work including, but not limited to site work, structural, mechanical, and electrical work. Questions regarding this project must be submitted in writing via email to Suzan Sadler, Procurement Specialist II, (ssadler@cityofchesapeake.net), by 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 17, 2023. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bidder's bond issued by a company authorized and licensed to transact business as surety in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a certified check, or cash escrow, in an amount equal to not less than five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the City of Chesapeake, Virginia. Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% The Owner reserves the right to waive minor non-substantive informalities in the Bid, to reject any/or all Bids, to award any Bid in whole or in part and award the Bid considered to be in the best interest of the Owner
