As of May 22, 2023, the apparent low bidder is awaiting award confirmation. On Call Utility and Miscellaneous Services for Sewer and Water Lines. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the specified time will not be considered. Provide all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the On Call Utility and Miscellaneous Services for Sewer and Water Lines. The Bidder is advised that the quantities shown in the Bid Schedule are estimated and do not reflect the actual amounts of work to be performed. Actual quantities may increase or decrease, and the Bidder shall not be entitled to any additional increase due to any changes in quantities. Work will be contracted through individual Work Orders and the Work shall be performed at the prices indicated in the Bidder's Bid. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following in reference to SECTION 01025 --MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT, PART 2. CONTRACT ITEMS in this solicitation: demolition and restoration of water and sewer piping, valves, fittings, etc., as well as emergency work and additional items associated with the foregoing, sewer laterals and extra work items, as may be required to ensure complete and proper restoration of water and/or sewer service. Bidder shall submit each bid and required accompanying documents using the blank form(s) provided in this Project Manual. The Service Authority reserves the right to make multiple awards as a result of this solicitation depending upon what the Service Authority determines to be in its best interest. The awards will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder or bidders as applicable If a Bidder plans to join the Pre-Bid Conference, the Bidder must inform the Procurement Department at purchasinggroupemail@pwcsa.org with the following information: vendor name, business address and contact person. The Service Authority will provide the MS Teams link to requestors only. Upon completion of the meeting, the Service Authority will post an attendance list on the Service Authority website. Interested Bidders and Subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend. Pleas of ignorance of any conditions existing on the worksite, or difficulties encountered in the execution of the Work, or as a result of failure to make necessary investigations and examinations, will not be accepted as an excuse for any failure or omission on the part of any Bidder to properly fulfill the requirements set forth in the Contract Documents. Payment and Performance Bonds and a Maintenance Bond may be required for certain projects. It will be determined by the Service Authority on a case-by-case basis.
