Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Braselton, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Braselton Visitors Bureau Authority seeks bids from General Contractors to provide construction services for alterations to and expansion of the historic Grist Mill. The project includes minor alterations and adaptive reuse to +/-1,150 SF of the existing Grist Mill into office space with a new exterior steel stair to satisfy egress requirements. The proposed 3,854 sf, two-story addition is located to the west of the existing building. The addition will include a lobby, restrooms, stairs, and office space. The goal is to limit site scope to new parking infrastructure for required ADA parking, grading around the addition and existing mill, and new site walls to improve to improve site drainage. As a result of this RFB, the Braselton Visitors Bureau Authority intends to enter into a contract with the selected Contractor to supply the construction services noted.
