Refer to Section 01 50 00 - Temporary Facilities and Controls for more information regarding parking availability. 2. Noise Restrictions: Noise and vibration causing activities that may impact library users must be completed before 8am each day (pricing shall include the costs for all shifts of work required and multiple shifts shall not be the basis for additional compensation). No work is to be performed during the week before finals or during finals week. Coordinate schedule with Owner. 3. Academic Dates for 2022-2024. If construction continues the dates below, please contact PDG PM and CM for future black out dates: - Winter Quarter 2023: January 3-March 17. Construction noise cannot occur during March 6-17, 2023. - Spring Quarter 2023: March 27-June 9. Construction noise cannot occur during May 29-June 9, 2023. -Summer Quarter A Term 2023: June 20-July 19. Construction noise cannot occur during: July 14-19, 2023. - Summer Quarter B Term 2023: July 20-August 18. Construction noise cannot occur during: August 14-18 - Autumn Quarter 2023: September 27-December 15. Construction noise cannot occur during December 4-15, 2023. - Winter Quarter 2024: January 3-March 15. Construction noise cannot occur during March 4-15, 2024. - Spring Quarter 2024: March 25-June 7. Construction noise cannot occur during May 27-June 7, 2024. The project includes the following work: Modernization of one existing basement set traction passenger elevator at the Odegaard Undergraduate Library. Addition of a split-system heat pump for conditioning the existing elevator machine room. Replacement of the overhead sheave space access hatch door. Electrical upgrades to bring the elevator power and lighting up to current code. Revisions to the existing fire alarm system to provide the elevator with code-compliant fire recall functionality. Replacement of the existing pit access ladder. Addition of fall protection and ladder access to the overhead sheave space access hatch. MODERNIZATION OF EXISTING ELEVATOR #161 EQUIPMENT, PROVIDING NEW ELEVATOR HALL DOORS, REPLACING EXISTING ROOF HATCH WITH NEW HATCH, ACCESS STAIRS AND GUARDS ON ROOF. THERE ARE NO BUILDING CODE UPGRADES WITH THIS ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION SUCH AS INCREASING FIRE RATINGS OR OTHER GENERAL WORK. THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL LOADS PLACED ON THE EXISTING BULDING'S STRUCTURE
