Renovation of a municipal facility in Hiram, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
For FY2023 Renovation of 76 Seaboard Street The purpose of this renovation project is to convert the lower level of this property into a suitable facility for the City of Hiram's Summer Camp, Camp Hornet. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same, have at least 10 years of General Contract (GC) experience and provide 3 references. The OWNER of the property is the City of Hiram. The BIDDER must be licensed to operate a business of this nature in the State of Georgia. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman's Compensation Insurance, with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms attached to the Agreement. Insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-6, a Standard and Poor's rating of excellent or better, and be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to conduct business in the State of Georgia. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the day of the Bid opening, but OWNER may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid prior to that date. Each bid must be submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as, "FY2023 - Renovation of 76 Seaboard Street - City Project # 2023-001." If bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope to the attention of the OWNER at the address previously given. There will be no pre-bid meeting. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and readvertise. PROJECT LOCATION: 76 SEABOARD STREET HIRAM GA 30141
