Description: WIN 25873.00 Location: In Washington County, project is located: Map ID 1 is in Jonesboro on Route 1 beginning 0.02 miles south of School Road and extending northerly to the intersection of Old Route 1. Includes paving shoulders. Map ID 2 is in Edmunds Twp. on South Edmunds Road beginning at the southerly intersection with Route 1 and extending northeasterly to Cobscook State Park. Map ID 3 is in Dennysville, Edmunds Twp., Marion Twp., and Cathance Twp. on Route 86 beginning at the intersection with Route 1 and extending westerly to the intersection with Route 191. Includes paving shoulders. Map ID 4 is in East Machias, Berry Twp., Marion Twp., Cathance Twp., Cooper, Meddybemps, and Baring Pit. on Route 191 beginning at the intersection with Route 1 in East Machias and extending northerly to the intersection with Route 1 / 9 in Baring Plt.. Includes paving shoulders and milling and paving bridges #3219, #3736. Map ID 5 is in Lubec on South Lubec Road beginning at the intersection with Route 189 and extending southeasterly to West Quoddy Head State Park. Map ID 6 is in Pembroke, Charlotte, and Meddybemps on Route 214 beginning at the intersection with Route | and extending northwesterly to the intersection with Route 191. Map ID 7 is in Eastport on County Road and New Port Road beginning at the intersection with Route 190 and extending southerly to the port. Includes paving shoulders. Map ID 8 is in Trescott, Whiting, and Lubec on Route 189 beginning at the intersection with Route 1 and extending easterly to the westerly end of the FDR Memorial Bridge. Includes paving shoulders. Outline of Work: Light Capital Paving and other incidental work. Bidders shall not contact any other Departmental staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and the Department will not be responsible for any interpretations so obtained. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable State Laws. The right is hereby reserved to the Maine DOT to reject any or all bids. MEDOT - (LCP)Light Capital Paving - Dennysville Area - Region 4 Bids will be accepted from all bidders. Electronic bids do not have to be accompanied by paper bids. Please note: the Department will accept a facsimile of the bid bond; however, the original bid bond must then be received at the MDOT Contract Section within 72 hours of the bid opening. Until further notice, dual bids (one paper, one electronic) will be accepted, with the paper copy taking precedence.
