Contractor must furnish all necessary labor and material to modernize two (2) hydraulic elevator systems in accordance with specifications. This is a turnkey project for the Contractor. All work is to be accomplished in a professional manner utilizing the best possible materials. The Contractor shall perform all operations as specified herein, and in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents. This specification will direct the Contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment, tools, supplies, and supervision required to maximize the performance of the elevator and establish a modern, safe, flexible and responsive elevator transportation system. It is the intent of this specification to outline broadly the equipment required and establish performance criteria but not to cover the details of design and construction. Such details are the responsibility of the Contractor. Project Location : 1 St. Peters Center Blvd., and 5200 Mexico Road, St. Peters, MO 63376 Elevator Modernization and Equipment Replacement will be received by the City of St. Peters, Purchasing Department, City Hall, One St. Peters Centre Boulevard, P.O. Box 9, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. This will be a Non-Public opening. Contract Documents will be available on Thursday, March 2, 2023 and may be obtained from the City of St. Peters, One St. Peters Centre Boulevard, St. Peters, MO 63376 or requested in writing to Bids@stpetersmo.net All questions regarding this project shall be submitted to the City of St. Peters Purchasing Department in writing to Bids@stpetersmo.net under the subject line RFP No. 23-129 - Elevator Modernization and Equipment Replacement or by mail to City of St. Peters Purchasing Department, One St. Peters Centre Boulevard, P.O. Box 9, St. Peters, MO 63376 before noon local time, Friday, March 10, 2023. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept the bid most advantageous to the City.
