Quebec. To be considered, the tender must be valid for a period of sixty (60) days following the deadline set for the receipt of tenders. The bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified cheque, money order or bank draft, drawn from a Financial Institution and be cashable in Quebec on demand or a surety bond issued by a Financial Institution holding an insurer license in Canada and recognized by the Autorité des marchés financiers in the amount of $2,500. In the event that the bid security is not in the form of a certified cheque, money order or bank draft, the bid must also be accompanied by a letter of commitment for the bond of execution for a value of fifty percent (50%) of the total of the tender before taxes.
