DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This contract is for Task Order based new Traffic Signal Installations and modifications to existing Traffic Signals at several intersections and roadways that are maintained by the City of Charlotte and North Carolina Department of Transportation on an "as needed" basis. This contract also includes fiber-optic cable installation, splicing and testing. Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000. The estimated cost of this Project is $ 2,004,425.00.
