Demolition, site work, paving, outdoor lighting and new construction of a mixed-use development in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a stadium; for outdoor lighting for a stadium; for the demolition of a stadium; for the construction of a stadium; and for paving for a stadium.

This project will consist of a) demolition of the existing stadium, b) erosion and sedimentation controls, c) provide materials and install new stadium with precast concrete bleachers and associated sitework, d) provide and install new electric panels for stadium, field lighting, etc. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Quakertown. Award of Contract, if a Contract be awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. All current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Standards and Specifications will prevail over all standards and specifications included in this contract. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/5/2023 4:00 PM The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body project. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, as set forth in the Contract Documents, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability.
