The sewer improvement project (Project) described herein provides a new 8-inch VCP replacement sewer in Brookhurst Street, approximately 900 feet south of Ball Road. New street surface pavement with asphalt concrete (AC) will be constructed in Brookhurst Street within limits as shown in plans. The Project also requires the removal of existing 8-inch VCP sewers as shown in the plans. The work consists of, but is not limited to, sewer pipeline removal, disposal and abandonment; sewer manhole removal, disposal, abandonment, modification, and construction; connection of existing service laterals to the proposed sewer pipeline; sewer bypassing to maintain sewer service; adjusting existing utility vaults, valve boxes and pull boxes to grade; trench restoration; sheeting, shoring, and bracing; grind and cap paving; traffic control; implementation of a Water Pollution Control Program and Best Management Practices; and all appurtenant work as shown on the plans and delineated in the specifications All questions related to the contract documents or plans shall be submitted in writing on-line through PlanetBids no later than Thursday, March 16, 2023 on or before 2:00 P.M.
